Ted Ginn, WR, New Orleans Saints

At this point in the season, everyone knows what they're getting in Ted Ginn Jr. He'll see 4 or 5 targets per game and you'll really need of those targets to be a big play for him to pay off.

The Carolina Panthers finished the season as the 10th-best pass defense, per numberFire metrics, but down the stretch, they were tagged for some big fantasy performances from opposing wide receivers, giving reason for optimism with Ginn. Between Weeks 14-16, Adam Thielen (6-105-1), Randall Cobb (7-84-1), and Mike Evans (6-107-0) all had big fantasy days against the Panthers.

In his two games against Carolina this year, Ginn was hit-or-miss. He went 2-44-1 in the team's Week 3 matchup, but then followed that up with a 2-27-0 game in Week 13. The Saints have the highest implied team total on Wild Card Weekend at 27.75, so in a game that's expected to be high-scoring, Ginn is worth a look against a Panthers defense that has given up big numbers to opposing wideouts in recent weeks.
