6. The Eagles' Aggressiveness Pays Off

Win Probability Swing: Eagles +12.65%

The Eagles are a smart enough team to know they should go for it on fourth down when they're on the opponent's goal line. That part made sense. But having a tight end lob one in the end zone to the quarterback? That takes some intestinal fortitude.

Doug Pederson is cooler than us. We just need to accept this.

Trey Burton ain't yo average tight end, having played quarterback at Florida, and Foles had run that same play in high school. So the draw-up makes sense. But to call it on 4th and goal in the Super Bowl? Whew, doggies.

That play put the Eagles' win odds up to 69.80% right before halftime, and it was easily the biggest play (from a win odds perspective) in the first half. We may not have had the guts to call it, but Pederson did, and the players executed. That deserves a big tip of the cap.
