Jordan Reed, TE, Washington

ADP: 75th overall, TE12

Some of you won't even make it past the Jordan Reed picture without cursing or throwing your laptop, but that animosity is exactly what makes Reed a good buy-low target this offseason since you may be able to get him on the cheap if his owner is fed up.

Because of his lack of sustained health, Reed has always been a polarizing asset in dynasty circles. After two straight injury-shortened seasons, the bandwagon is thinning out as he's dropped from the TE3 a year ago to the TE12 now, meaning this may be the opportune time to invest.

Admittedly, in addition to having the injury history of an 85-year-old running back, Reed wasn't super productive when he was on the field last year. He ended the season with 27 catches for 211 yards and 2 scores. His 7.8 yards per catch and 35.2 yards per game were both career-low marks.

Buying Reed is a roll of the dice on his talent, something rarely in question, and his ability to regain his form -- and health -- from 2015, when he ripped off 87 catches for 952 yards and 11 touchdowns as a matchup nightmare. There's a chance he never stays healthy or plays that well again, and time will tell how Reed meshes with Alex Smith.

However, outside of the aforementioned elite tight ends, not many guys possess top-of-the-position upside. Reed does, and he hasn't been this cheap in a long time. It's never easy to stomach the volatility that comes with an asset like Reed -- and buying him could wind up being a total flop -- but the price has dropped to the point where it's not a bad gamble.
