Atlanta Falcons - Justin Hardy

Cap Savings: $705,000

Dead Money: $135,205

Justin Hardy was not terrible in 2017, but it's hard to argue that he did much to secure a roster spot. He had only 20 receptions last season, on which he delivered 221 yards and 3 touchdowns. On a per-snap basis, his numbers aren't bad, but the sample size is incredibly small.

The Atlanta Falcons' offense needs an upgrade at wideout behind Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu. They also don't have a lot of cap space, and Matt Ryan is due to negotiate a new deal with 2018 being the final season of his pact. Cutting Hardy wouldn't free up much money, but every little bit helps.
