Christian McCaffrey hasn't been used as an every-down back, seeing just 117 carries last year. However, he was on the field for 89% of the Carolina Panthers' first-team snaps during the preseason.

He’s also in a spot this week, as a favorite (3.0), that saw him get used the most last season. When Vegas picked the Panthers to win in 2017, McCaffrey saw his rushes and targets get bumped up.

If that trend follows with an increase in overall usage against the Dallas Cowboys, McCaffrey will start the season as a workhorse back. At $7,500, he may be the cheapest way to get a back with that type of workload.
