NFC West

Arizona Cardinals - Is David Johnson Losing Work?

Quarterback: Sam Bradford (100%)

Running Backs: David Johnson (68%), Chase Edmonds (32%)

Wide Receivers: Larry Fitzgerald (98%), Chad Williams (94%), Christian Kirk (85%)

Tight End: Ricky Seals-Jones (92%)

Compared to a 2016 breakout season that saw David Johnson take the field for 84% of offensive snaps, the marquee running back only played 68% of snaps in Week 1. Rookie Chase Edmonds spelled Johnson on the remaining 32% of plays in a game that Washington dominated from wire to wire. Despite a rocky outing, veteran quarterback Sam Bradford's job looks safe.

Los Angeles Rams - Play Monday Night

San Francisco 49ers - Could Pettis Emerge?

Quarterback: Jimmy Garoppolo (100%)

Running Backs: Alfred Morris (51%), Matt Breida (45%)

Wide Receivers: Pierre Garcon (80%), Dante Pettis (73%), Trent Taylor (56%), Marquise Goodwin (26%)

Tight End: George Kittle (77%)

Matt Breida and Alfred Morris predictably split carries in a game in which the Niners struggled to get going offensively and trailed throughout the second half. But it was an injury to speedster Marquise Goodwin (quad) that opened a door for rookie Dante Pettis. Pettis took this opportunity and ran with it, turning his 5 targets into 2 receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown. He could make some noise at home versus Detroit if Goodwin continues to miss time.

Seattle Seahawks - Life After Doug Baldwin

Quarterback: Russell Wilson (100%)

Running Backs: Chris Carson (44%), Rashaad Penny (44%)

Wide Receivers: Tyler Lockett (98%), Brandon Marshall (65%), David Moore (28%), Doug Baldwin (19%)

Tight End: Nick Vannett (61%), Will Dissly (58%)

Star wide receiver Doug Baldwin sprained his right MCL Sunday and is considered week-to-week from now. As a result, Tyler Lockett and the ageless Brandon Marshall will shoulder the load for the Seahawks. Will Dissly popped at the tight end position with a few big plays and is definitely a name to monitor.

Rashaad Penny managers can smile that he saw the exact same snap rate as "starter" Chris Carson, despite Penny coming off a recent hand injury. Carson, however, was able to convert his opportunities into more fantasy points in Week 1.
