A High-Target Tight End & A 'Dog That Will Win

Jimmy Graham Will See 8+ Targets

I mentioned earlier that Davante Adams could see a decreased role in Week 2, and one of the primary beneficiaries should be tight end Jimmy Graham. I fully expect Aaron Rodgers to line up behind center for the Green Bay Packers and get rid of the ball as quickly as possible to prevent any unnecessary shots to his injured knee.

On top of that, Graham was underutilized in Week 1, contributing to the Packers' first half deficit. Graham's stat line was repulsive, seeing only four targets, leading to two receptions for eight yards.

Look for the Packers to get him more involved as a focal point of their offense with some quick-hitters against the Minnesota Vikings' staunch defense. While it's probable that Graham has lost a step and is not as capable of gaining separation as he was earlier in his career, he still poses a mismatch. And, oh yeah, he plays with the king of the tight window throw, Aaron Rodgers. Graham should see a lot of work come his way with a beat up Rodgers and limited Adams.

The Buccaneers Will Defend Their Home Turf Against the Super Bowl Champion Eagles

I don't know anyone who saw that coming from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs traveled to New Orleans and opened a can of offensive gunpowder on the Saints' talented secondary. I couldn't believe it.

But the more I think about it, it sort of makes sense. Sure, the Bucs are operating without Jameis Winston at quarterback, but they have perhaps the most complementary set of pass catchers in the league. That showed up in spades in Week 1.

Now, Tampa gets a second straight tough opponent in the reigning Super Bowl champs. However, the Eagles looked quite pedestrian behind Nick Foles' 56% completion percentage and 117 scoreless passing yards.

While I think Peyton Barber will run into a brick wall all night, Julio Jones showed that the Eagles can be beat through the air. Look for a second dose of Fitzmagic as Tampa looks to overcome a 3.5-point spread at home.
