Josh Doctson, WR, Washington

Josh Doctson hasn't got things going yet this season, turning 10 targets into only 5 receptions, 48 yards and 0 touchdowns through 2 games. A couple of inefficient performances shouldn't scare you off yet, though.

Washington threw the ball 30 times in a Week 1 blowout, but 10 of those targets went to running backs and 6 went to tight ends, as they played it incredibly safe with no need to take risks as they played with a lead. Their average depth of target (aDOT) sat at only 3.2 yards in that one, per FantasyADHD.com.

Week 2 was a more usual game, with that aDOT jumping to 7.1 yards, and with 8 targets going at least 15 yards downfield, compared to 0 in Week 1. That increased downfield usage was big for Doctson, who saw 7 targets with an 11.6-yard aDOT.

Doctson leads the Washington receiving corps in snaps (92.2%, with no others topping even 85%), and with volume like his, it's not long before the fantasy points start piling up.
