Until we see a big change, Alvin Kamara and Todd Gurley will both be in consideration for the top running back spot on FanDuel each week. And with Gurley playing on Thursday, Kamara is locked in as the top player at his position in Week 4.

We talked about his enormous role in the passing game last week, and he followed that up with by setting new career highs of 15 receptions and 124 receiving yards in Week 3. With Mark Ingram still suspended, Kamara will maintain his heavy workload for at least another week. Our models project him to see the seventh-most (16.0) carries of any running back on the main slate, but more impressively, they project him to also see 4.9 more targets than any other player at his position.

That volume provides a very safe floor, and to see his ceiling we need to look no further than Week 1, when he finished with 38.6 FanDuel points. That's the kind of player we are looking for to anchor our lineups.
