Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR, Green Bay Packers

This one may seem like I'm going really deep, but with Randall Cobb (hamstring) and Geronimo Allison (concussion) both still not practicing, Marquez Valdes-Scantling should play a big role for the Green Bay Packers.

Even with Allison playing 56 snaps in Week 4, Valdes-Scantling was on the field for 54, notching a 38-yard reception on 3 targets. His 13-yard average depth of target (aDOT) was second only to Allison in that game, and if Allison can't go in Week 5 then Valdes-Scantling could serve as the primary deep threat in an Aaron Rodgers-led offense. That's the kind of player you want in fantasy football.

Even with their banged-up receiving corps, the Packers boast a 26-point implied total as they travel to take on the Detroit Lions. Detroit ranks bottom-five in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play, and a big workload would give Valdes-Scantling a ton of upside this week.
