10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets Heading Into Week 6

The Green Bay D/ST was a popular pickup heading into Week 4's home matchup against the Buffalo Bills. That wasn't the case in Week 5. With a matchup against the high-powered Detroit Lions, over 13,000 fantasy owners dropped them in Week 5, second only to the Seattle D/ST that was facing the Los Angeles Rams.

Streamers should have them back on their radars this week, however. The Packers head back home to take on the injury-riddled 49ers. Let's start with the 49ers.

As we mentioned earlier, the Niners could be without Breida this week, but it's Garoppolo's absence that hurts them the most. C.J. Beathard is certainly capable of playing in the NFL, but he's clearly not a replacement for Jimmy G. Beathard is coming off a game in which he turned the ball over four times. The Arizona Cardinals were able to take him down for four sacks, as well, propelling them to a 21-fantasy point outing.

San Francisco has now given up multiple turnovers in its past two games, and they've done it three times on the season. It's no wonder that Green Bay is already a 10.0-point favorite for next Monday's clash.

While some owners might have had the foresight to keep the Packers on their bench through this week's tough matchup, there are many more who didn't. Take advantage, use them for a week, and then let them go back to where you found them. A bye and matchups with the Rams and Patriots await in the near future.
