5 NFL Stats to Know Through Week 6
Another action-packed week of the 2018 NFL season is in the books, and like the five weeks that went before it, Week 6 provided a host of key statistical nuggets.
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady won his 200th regular season game as the Patriots edged past the previously unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. With the Chiefs' loss, only one team remains perfect on the season -- the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams bested the Denver Broncos last week, moving to 6-0. Jason Myers kicked himself into the record books with seven successful field goals for the New York Jets against the Indianapolis Colts. Together with his three successful extra points, Myers joined former Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas as the highest single-game point scorer not including a touchdown in modern NFL history.
Let’s take a closer look at some of the other key stats -- both traditional as well as our advanced statistics -- that emerged from Week 6.
