To say Adam Thielen has impressed in his first six games with new quarterback Kirk Cousins would be a severe understatement. He has certainly clicked with his new passer, seeing double-digit targets and topping 100 receiving yards in every game. In fact, we have to go all the way back to 1961 to find the last time a player opened a season with more consecutive 100-yard receiving games.

That's a 57-year old record that we're talking about now, folks.

And our models project Thielen to reach the century mark again, with 104.4 receiving yards to lead all players on the main slate in Week 7.

Of course, leading all players wouldn't be anything new to Thielen this year as he currently leads the NFL in both receptions (58) and receiving yards (712). And to boost him even more, he has caught four touchdown passes, compared to zero for Julio Jones, who sits in second place in both of those receiving categories.

Thielen has run 60% of his routes from the slot so far this year, which will match him up in Week 7 against rookie Parry Nickerson, who ranks dead last among the 111 cornerbacks graded by Pro Football Focus in 2018.
