Jeff Heuerman, TE, Denver Broncos

It's not realistic to expect a repeat performance, but the fact that Jeff Heuerman racked up 10 receptions, 83 yards and 1 touchdown on 11 targets last week is incredibly promising.

He had already seen at least four targets in each of his last five games, averaging 5.25 per. That may not seem like a lot, but with the state of the tight end position this season, it's solid for a waive wire option.

That 11-target game was also his first since Demaryius Thomas was traded, and considering Thomas' 19% target market share over the first 9 weeks of the season, it wouldn't be surprising to see Heuerman's workload increase.

The Los Angeles Chargers are one of only six teams allowing at least eight targets per game to opposing tight ends on the year. Even with Denver's low 19.25-point implied total, the potential for volume is enough to overcome the low chances of scoring a touchdown, which is usually one of the top things we look for in a sleeper tight end.
