10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets Heading Into Week 14

It can be tough to find impactful players on the waiver wire this late in the NFL season, and it was looking like slim pickings until late last night when a potential bombshell dropped. That would be when James Conner went down with an apparent leg injury, leading to Jaylen Samuels taking over at running back and scoring the game-tying touchdown for the Steelers late in the fourth quarter.

Head coach Mike Tomlin labeled Conner's injury as a bruise, and the extent is unknown at this time. If he is forced to miss any time, Samuels will likely split time with Stevan Ridley in the Steelers backfield. But Samuels becomes extremely valuable due to his availability to fill the tight end spot in Yahoo fantasy football rosters in addition to running back.

That type of versatility makes Samuels an excellent waiver addition at this stage in the season.
