NFC West

Arizona Cardinals - Don't Chase the Chase!

Quarterback: Josh Rosen (100%)

Running Back: David Johnson (84%), Chase Edmonds (21%)

Wide Receivers: Larry Fitzgerald (97%), Christian Kirk (85%), Trent Sherfield (50%), J.J. Nelson (19%)

Tight End: Jermaine Gresham (71%), Ricky Seals-Jones (35%), John Phillips (19%)

There are certainly going to be a lot of teams that added Chase Edmonds to their rosters today. It's understandable; he did just score twice in a surprising win over the Green Bay Packers. Still, he was on the field for just 21% of the team's snaps. His highest all season is 33%. This is a reminder that this is David Johnson's team. You know it, I know it, and most importantly, Byron Leftwich knows it. Don't chase Chase!

Los Angeles Rams - Reynolds Should Bounce Back

Quarterback: Jared Goff (100%)

Running Backs: Todd Gurley (94%)

Wide Receivers: Josh Reynolds (97%), Robert Woods (96%), Brandin Cooks (96%)

Tight Ends: Tyler Higbee (68%), Gerald Everett (35%)

There are many who were probably dismayed by Josh Reynolds' performance this week. It's understandable. After catching 6 passes for 80 yards and a score against the Chiefs, 2 receptions for 19 yards doesn't look like much. However, he still saw five targets and led all Rams receivers by being on the field for 97% of the team's plays. Sean McVay loves to use three-receiver sets, so Reynolds should bounce back from this dud.

San Francisco 49ers - Wilson Time

Quarterback: Nick Mullens (100%)

Running Backs: Jeff Wilson (71%), Kyle Juszczyk (51%), Matt Breida (13%)

Wide Receivers: Dante Pettis (93%), Kendrick Bourne (88%) Richie James (39%), Trent Taylor (30%)

Tight Ends: George Kittle (88%), Garrett Celek (21%)

Matt Brieda re-injured his ankle and has already been ruled out for this week's matchup against the Denver Broncos. Enter Jeff Wilson. The rookie back carried the ball 15 times for 61 yards and added 8 receptions for 73 yards after Breida left last week. He is the odds-on favorite to be the starter this week, and he's worth a shot in daily leagues, if nothing else.

Seattle Seahawks - Penny Time?

Quarterback: Russell Wilson (100%)

Running Backs: Chris Carson (59%), Rashaad Penny (21%), Mike Davis (17%)

Wide Receivers: Doug Baldwin (93%), Tyler Lockett (69%), David Moore (48%), Jaron Brown (26%), Malik Turner (24%)

Tight End: Ed Dickson (48%), Nick Vannett (43%)

While 4% doesn't seem like a large number, it's significant nonetheless. Rookie Rashaad Penny saw 4% more snaps than Mike Davis, the first time since Week 3 that that he's seen more playing time. He sure made it count, carrying the ball 7 times for 65 yards and a score. While this is still Chris Carson's backfield, he saw only six more carries than the rook this week. The Hawks get the Niners (again) and Chiefs in Weeks 15 and 16, so Penny could end up being a fantasy Christmas present should anything happen to Carson.
