Sunday Running Back: Darren Sproles, Philadelphia Eagles

Price: $5,500

Going nice and cheap, Darren Sproles' price-tag doesn't reflect the volume he has seen recently.

Returning from injury in Week 13, Sproles didn't get much work in his first few games. Things really picked up in Week 16, though, when he saw 9 carries and 6 targets, which he followed up with 7 carries and 10 targets in Week 17.

He played significant snaps in both of those games, being on the field for 46% of the Philadelphia Eagles' offensive snaps in Week 16 and 38% in Week 17, and he has been highly efficient when on the field, averaging 0.42 FanDuel points per snap.

It's no secret that Sproles is most valuable in the passing game, and with Philly sitting as the week's biggest underdogs (6.0 points), there should be no shortage of passing-game work available.

When playing at least 15% of the team's offensive snaps, Sproles has yet to see fewer than 3 targets in a game (averaging 4.6 per), and he stands to see big volume relative to his price-tag -- the number-one thing to look for in a value running back.
