Chicago Bears - Dion Sims

Cap Savings: $6 million

Dead Money: $333,000

This season saw something of an offensive resurgence from the Chicago Bears, but very little of the credit for this can fall at the feet of tight end Dion Sims.

Sims played in only eight games and was targeted only four times all season. Three of those targets as well as his only two receptions of the campaign came in Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers. After that, his primary role was blocking.

Sims never played more than 53% of the offensive snaps in any game and was hardly taxed by excessive special teams duties, either. Sims could be approached about taking a pay cut, but seeing in a different uniform next season seems just as likely.
