Gerald Everett, TE, Los Angeles Rams

Price: $4,400

The pricing tiers at tight end couldn't be more clear-cut this week. You can pay up for Travis Kelce ($7,400), go for the mid-range with Rob Gronkowski ($5,600) or go cheap. Kelce and Gronk are the only tight ends priced above $4,800 on the slate, meaning that every other tight end is priced at least as close to the minimum salary for the position ($4,000) as they are to Gronk.

Over the final four weeks of the regular season, the Rams went with two tight ends on the field often, and Gerald Everett played 59% of the team's offensive snaps while Tyler Higbee played 58%.

In that time, Everett was the clear favorite in the receiving game among the two, seeing at least six targets in three of the four games. Higbee didn't see more than two targets in any of the four.

Higbee did out-target Everett last week, seeing four to Everett's two, but just because it happened in the playoffs doesn't mean we should overreact to a one-game sample. Yes, Higbee also out-snapped Everett last week, but that also happened in Week 15, when Everett out-targeted Higbee seven to two.

Neither are threats to do big damage on only three or four targets, so what we're looking for is who is more likely to have the kind of game that would represent solid value. And with Higbee topping four targets in only one game this season, the clear answer looks to be Everett. Thanks to last week's discrepancy, we may also get the added bonus of Everett being lower-owned than Higbee, despite being $100 cheaper.
