5. Your League Scoring System Matters

This may seem like common sense, but don't load up on players that don't fit your league scoring system. It wouldn't make sense keep someone like Kendall Wright if you're in a league that values touchdowns and doesn't award any points per reception. If you're in a touchdown-heavy league, maybe keeping a goal-line back is more worthwhile.

Though I mentioned to stay away from keeping tight ends and quarterbacks, if you're in a league that rewards these positions far more than the norm, you may still want to keep one. But remember that fantasy football is a game of value, and just because quarterbacks score the most points doesn't mean they're the most important position in your league. Always compare within the position, not across.
