Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

It was the Seahawks in Seattle. Don’t worry, better days are ahead. If you can buy low on Aaron Rodgers (unlikely, but worth a try), now would be the week to do it. Perhaps offering Ben Roethlisberger and another bench player in a two for one could generate interest.

The only thing I'll say is that this offense has lost a lot of weapons over the years, and perhaps won’t be as explosive as we are used to seeing. Without Jermichael Finley, Greg Jennings and James Jones, this offense is much less diverse and perhaps less explosive. And right tackle Derek Sherrod can’t block anyone, which has to be a concern.

Recommendation: Who are we kidding, it was the Seahawks. Last year, our metrics had their Defensive Passing NEP at -108.75, which was 48.20 points less than they next best defense and the best in the league over the last five years. In other words, the Seahawks are historically good against the pass. Rodgers will be fine. Trade for him if you can buy low, and keep him if you are sane.
