Owen Daniels, TE, Baltimore Ravens

Everyone knows that Week 4 was Steve Smith Day. Smith had 10 targets and a monster stat line, but second on the team in targets was Owen Daniels. Daniels turned his 6 targets into a modest 4-catch, 43-yard day, but Week 5 presents a pretty good matchup for him.

The Colts were torched by Julius Thomas in Week 1 and allowed just one catch to Jaguar tight ends in Week 3. But against the Eagles in Week 2 and the Titans in Week 4, the non-extreme examples, the Colts allowed 4.5 receptions, 85 yards, and 0.5 touchdowns to tight ends. That averages to 13.75 fantasy points per contest.

Daniels should be a nice tend end option if you're looking for a safe floor in this promising matchup.
