Riley Cooper, WR, Philadelphia Eagles

You may call me crazy, but I’ve watched every single one of the Eagles games this year and Riley Cooper’s dropped three touchdown passes. Last week, he easily got behind the San Francisco 49ers secondary, but Nick Foles overthrew him by a mile.

He’s going to find the end zone eventually, and it could be this week against St. Louis. Philadelphia’s offense is predicated on the run game and play-action. With stud right tackle Lane Johnson returning, the Eagles should be able to get LeSean McCoy going. This will open up creases in the secondary for the Philly wide receivers.

The Rams give up the 12th-most points to wide receivers, and Cooper is still the second-most targeted pass-catcher for the Eagles. Nick Foles built quite the rapport with Cooper last season, and it’s only a matter a time before the two finally connect. At $3,900, Cooper is a definitely a huge risk given his lack of production thus far, but he does have upside.
