After pleading in this column over multiple weeks for more usage, finally the Vikings appear to have listened, giving McKinnon 17 touches to the slow, plodding, untalented Matt Asiata's 3. Finally!
Beyond touches, he also was much better in blocking, thus earning more overall snaps; we'll see if that trend holds up. Even if it doesn't immediately, the talent gap is obvious and, with some luck and some competence from the Minnesota coaching, your patience will pay off big time.
