DraftKings Daily Fantasy Football: Top Punt Plays for Week 7
Davante Adams, WR, Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers offense has a great matchup this week against a porous Carolina Panthers secondary, who give up the eighth-most fantasy points to wide receivers. Not to mention, quarterback Aaron Rodgers is on an absolute tear over the last three games, tossing 10 touchdowns and no interceptions.
Davante Adams ($3,900) has been a bit of a revelation in the Packers aerial attack recently, and was actually the second most targeted receiver last week against Miami. Adams took full advantage, pulling down 6 receptions for 77 yards, including an almost-touchdown towards the end of the game.
His Reception NEP of 16.15 is also stands out with his low volume of opportunity thus far (just 25 targets). He’s seemingly overtaken Jarrett Boykin as the bona fide third receiver in Green Bay.
Vegas has the over/under set at the second highest point total of the week at 49.5, so it should be expected that the game will be high-scoring. That’s good news for someone like Adams, who could officially breakout this week.
