Ameer Abdullah is no longer an off-the-radar name, but given his uncertain workload and his Week 3 matchup -- the now-vaunted Denver defense -- it's unlikely he's on too many Week 3 rosters.

Yes, through two weeks, the Broncos own the stingiest defense in the league, per our Adjusted Defensive NEP per play metric. They have the best passing defense, too. Their rushing defense, though, ranks 12th, and that has a lot to do with Jamaal Charles having a pretty big day against them in Week 2 (if you forgive the costly fumbles).

Matthew Stafford's status for Week 3 is uncertain, and the Broncos are tough to pass on.

Expecting Joique Bell to pound the rock against this front seven probably isn't a sensible bet, meaning that the electrifying Abdullah could be the key to the offense -- what little there may to be had -- in Week 3.
