Tight Ends

High-Cost Option: Rob Gronkowski $7,400

I'm going to prep this section here for a cookie-cutter type to cut and paste each week. There's Rob Gronkowski at the tight end position, then there's the field.

Gronk faces a juicy matchup this week against Jacksonville and has the consistency, upside, and touchdown potential that warrants paying up for him nearly every week. Already over 200 yards with 4 touchdowns, Gronkowski draws a Jaguars defense that got lucky with a few penalty calls against Greg Olsen in Week 1, and then were hit by Miami's tight ends for 5-80-1. With 21 targets through two games, Brady will continue to look Gronkowski's way, especially in the red zone. Over the course of his career, Tom Brady has found Gronk in the red zone on 61 of 88 attempts (69.3%) with 44 touchdowns and only 3 picks.

Gronk is money.

Mid-Cost Option: Greg Olsen $4,800

The mid-cost options on DraftKings this week don't offer much for users in both price and unfriendly matchups, but targeting Greg Olsen could yield positive results.

Olsen was targeted a team-high 37.8% of the time by Cam Newton, and after a rough outing in Week 1 where things didn't break Olsen's way, he rebounded for catching 6 of 14 targets for 70 yards against Houston. Facing an injured and suspect secondary from New Orleans, Olsen could manufacture even more production this week and finally hit paydirt, as he torched the Saints in their second matchup last year with 10-72-1.

Low-Cost Option: Jared Cook $2,800

If you're like me, sometimes you like to load up on one position and completely punt another in order to fill your lineups with a few high-priced studs guaranteed to produce on game day. A heavily targeted punt of mine last week was Jared Cook who was able to reel in 5 receptions for 47 yards as he hit his value threshold and allowed you to go stud shopping.

Cook faces a Pittsburgh defense that has allowed the second most fantasy points to opposing tight ends giving up 11-157-4 to New England and San Francisco. Nick Foles has repeatedly looked Cook's way as his most targeted weapon -- which should say more about St. Louis's offense than it does about Cook's talent -- and should continue this trend Sunday against Pittsburgh. At $2,800 you're not looking for much more than Cook hitting value and crossing your fingers that he can hit paydirt. The Rams failed to reach the red zone last week against the Washington Redskins on the road. Look for Cook and the Rams to buck that trend at home against a Steelers defense that ranks last in pass defense according to our metrics.

GPP Wildcard: Eric Ebron $3,300

Eric Ebron may have a bit higher ownership percentage than some of the other GPP plays mentioned, but he has a fantastic matchup and will likely need to be utilized if Detroit hopes to keep pace with a Denver offense that may have found its way against Kansas City last week.

The Broncos have shut down opposing wide receivers this season, as Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr. continue to play some of the best ball at the cornerback position. Allowing a combined 102 passing to Baltimore and Kansas City's wide receivers, the stud cornerbacks will now try to continue their shutdown ways against Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate. Ebron, however, should be able to find holes in the middle of the field against the Broncos linebackers and could hit the end zone for a third straight week after posting 4-53-1 and 5-43-1 in his last two outings.
