Wide Receiver: A.J. Green

A.J. Green, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
10 Receptions, 227 Yards, 13 Targets, 2 TD
NEP: +20.38

In a week full of huge wide receiver outings, Cincinnati's A.J. Green provided what was the most efficient, productive, and entertaining out of them all. Green's big outing helped Cincinnati take down AFC North rival Baltimore Ravens 28-24.

Picking up 227 yards on 10 receptions, Green dominated the Baltimore secondary while finding his way to pay dirt for a pair of touchdowns. Green shed cornerbacks Jimmy Smith and Lardarius Webb with ease creating a one-man highlight reel with big play after big play.

Racking up an obscene 44.7 PPR fantasy points, Green followed Freeman's steps and produced the highest scoring output of wide receivers to date this season. His +20.38 NEP swing is also the largest to date this season, as Green now ranks fifth among all wide receivers in Reception NEP.

Steve Smith and Julio Jones were right behind him in the next tier of efficiency as both accumulated 150-plus receiving yards and a pair of scores. Jeremy Maclin has finally put an end to the critics talking about the zero touchdowns to wide receivers by Kansas City, and for that we can all be thankful. Larry Fitzgerald has found a career resurgence with Carson Palmer in Arizona this season, and Randall Cobb's three-touchdown performance against the Chiefs helped vault him up to round out the rest of the top NEP receivers this week. Rishard Matthews (+13.53) just missed the cut but has certainly warranted some attention down in Miami. Matthews has collected 17 targets over the past two weeks en route to 228 yards and 2 touchdowns and now ranks as WR12 on the season in PPR scoring.
