Tight Ends

High-Cost Option: Greg Olsen $5,400

No, I'm not chasing points. I'm chasing the targets.

Greg Olsen has now received 25 targets over the past two weeks -- tops among all tight ends during that time span -- and has rewarded fantasy owners with a collective 49.4 fantasy points in the process. After hauling in 8 receptions for 134 yards and 2 touchdowns last week, Olsen has finally become the inevitable focal point of the offense. Carolina matches up with a Tampa Bay defense that has done a good job limiting tight ends so far this season, but have yet to face one of Olsen's caliber.

Mid-Cost Option: Martellus Bennett $4,500

Each week where we're not rostering Gronk, we're chasing touchdowns. Rostering Martellus Bennett will take some faith that the Chicago offense isn't a complete dumpster fire in the hands of Jimmy Clausen, but Bennett faces the defense that has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing tight ends -- while allowing five touchdowns to opposing tight ends in three games.

The Raiders have given up an average of 6.7 receptions for 99 yards and 1.7 touchdowns against tight ends this season -- including Cleveland's Gary Barnidge. Tied with Jimmy Graham last year leading all tight ends with 21 red zone targets, Bennett could find could keep this recent trend against Oakland going and surprise many in what figures to be a low scoring game.

Low-Cost Option: Charles Clay $3,300

The Giants have given up the third most points to opposing tight ends, a ranking that could've been worse if Kirk Cousins would've been able to hit an open Jordan Reed in the end zone twice last week. After posting a 5-82-1 stat line against his former team last week, Charles Clay is a low-cost option at only $3,300 in a favorable matchup. The Bills offense may have hit a groove after posting 41 points last week, and the Giants could be next in line with all cylinders in this offense rolling behind Tyrod Taylor.

From a stacking perspective, pairing Clay with Taylor could give you great matchups from both positions. Clay is receiving 21.8% of the team's target market share and leading the team in receiving touchdowns. Bargain shopping here could provide a high ceiling and give you the luxury to pay up at other positions.

GPP Wildcard: Zach Ertz $3,200

Last year when the Eagles were in a fight for a playoff spot, Zach Ertz put up a 15-115-0 line against Washington as he was the entire focus of the passing attack. After seeing the Eagles continue to struggle this season, a big performance from Ertz (and Sam Bradford) could be just what the Philadelphia offense needs to gain their confidence back.

Washington has allowed the 14th most fantasy points to opposing tight ends so far this year. Ertz has been sparingly used -- as has every receiver outside of Jordan Matthews -- but has the third most targets and receiving yards on the team. The Eagles skill players should once again be under-owned this week following their slow start to the season, and Ertz could be a low-owned GPP play that could pay off after already exhibiting a history of a high ceiling against his NFC East rival.
