10 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 6
Blake Bortles, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Believe it or not, Blake Bortles is playing some good football, according to NEP. Bortles owned a historically bad Passing NEP of -97.97 last season but now sits at 16th among quarterbacks with a score of 17.87. Yes, he's relying on big plays (evidenced by the lowest Success Rate among the top 16 in Passing NEP), but those big plays could be there this week against Houston, who ranks 20th in Adjusted Passing NEP per play and 27th against quarterbacks in fantasy scoring.
Throw in two top-12 receivers by Reception NEP -- Allen Robinson (12th) and Allen Hurns (7th) -- along with Julius Thomas and Bortles makes for a somewhat safe sleeper play at quarterback while he still has the stigma of being, you know, Blake Bortles.
