Tennessee Titans Passing Offense

Hopefully this is a bit less chalky for your tastes. Everybody knows that the Patriots are in the top 10 in passing efficiency. But the Tennessee Titans? You bet your bottom they are.

Through Week 5, the Titans are exactly 10th in Adjusted Passing NEP per play. And remember, this takes into account their strength of schedule, so it's not just because they've had matchup against the aforementioned Colts and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This is after adjusting for that, which should lend at least a little more legitimacy to a stat that could still be the product of a small sample size.

These Titans find themselves in a great matchup for Week 6. The Miami Dolphins' struggles are obvious with the firing of Joe Philbin, but the extent of their struggles may actually be understated. They are currently last in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play at 0.38. Only one other team has a mark higher than 0.30. This is their crown, and they're not in a position to relinquish it any time soon.

The hard part here is figuring out what will happen with the Miami defense under a new head coach and defensive coordinator. That throws an element of uncertainty into this. Because it could go either way -- improvement or somehow getting worse -- I'm going to just assume their defense held pat until we see something to assert otherwise.

This is a play that will save you a bit of cash pretty much no matter where you go. The two assets I want most are Kendall Wright and Delanie Walker. Wright is the only player on the team getting more than 20 percent of the targets at 20.31 percent. He has 18 targets over the past two games, and he'll only run you $5,800 on FanDuel and $5,200 on DraftKings.

With Walker, this is largely because of Marcus Mariota's desire to flood tight ends with targets. Overall, they have been his choice on 32.0 percent of his attempts. When Walker has been healthy, most of those have been going to him, with 10 targets in Week 3 and 6 in Week 5. He's at $5,400 on FanDuel and $3,600 on DraftKings. Either of these guys is going to give you some serious flexibility.

With Mariota, I'm not huge on him, specifically on FanDuel. There, he's $7,200, which puts him only $300 less than guys who likely possess much higher floors than he does. It's certainly not terrible to roll out Mariota; I just think there are better options that won't cost you much more. But getting ownership in Walker and Wright at their prices seems to be the right move here.
