Koa Misi, Linebacker

I’m hurt, truly. Koa Misi makes four guys we’ve featured in this column already that you all haven’t picked up yet. It would behoove you to know that Misi is the 27th-best linebacker by points-per-game in 2015. You might also be fascinated to know that he has four of his five games with 7.5 points or more, all without any fluky takeaways or sacks. His tackle base is incredible, and he’s one of our most sustainable players in IDP.

This week, that tackle base should maintain, as he takes on a Houston Texans’ offense that always and forever will go through Arian Foster. Over the last two games, the Texans have averaged just under 30 rushing attempts per game, and that kind of volume is just what the doctor ordered for the run-stopping Misi. His big play quotient is high in this one, too, as the Texans tie for 12th in the NFL in stuff percentage allowed. Misi has a great floor and still a strong ceiling in Week 7.

Misi is available in 95.3% of ESPN IDP leagues, and we project him for around 6.5 tackles, a good chance for a pass defensed, and a total score of 7.08 balanced fantasy points in Week 7.
