Defenses

High-Cost Option: Arizona Cardinals $4,000

It's not often I recommend chasing the most expensive defense, but the Arizona Cardinals are on a complete tear and it looks like they'll be potentially facing Johnny Manziel this week. The Browns have given up at least 4 sacks in five straight games and have coughed the ball up 10 times over that same time span. Arizona continues to lead the league in interceptions and gets a cupcake matchup this week in which they're favored by 4.5-points.

Mid-Cost Option: St. Louis Rams $3,200

The Rams were a popular unit last week, and they didn't fail to live up to expectations, picking up 25 fantasy points against Cleveland. They now take on the San Francisco 49ers, a team giving opposing defenses the third-highest fantasy points as the 49ers' offense continues to struggle. The 49ers are averaging a league-low 14.7 points per game and could have trouble reaching that total in Week 8 against Gregg Williams' aggressive squad. The Rams have the highest spread this week with 8.5-points and should terrorize the San Francisco offense all game.

Low-Cost Option: Tennessee Titans $2,500

The Titans face a now Arian Foster-less Texans squad that will likely be a one-dimensional offense going forward. Lucky for the Titans, they happen to be having great success against the pass this season allowing the second-fewest passing yards per game to opposing offenses (195 yards per game). While their rushing defense leaves a lot to be desired (fourth-worst), they now get a favorable matchup, having to defend the duo of Alfred Blue and Chris Polk this week. Brian Hoyer has completed 58.9% of his passes this season (ranked 27th) and while Tennessee isn't exactly an elite play this week, they could be a cash saver allowing you to pay up at other positions.

GPP Wildcard: Carolina Panthers $3,200

At home taking on a struggling Indianapolis Colts offense on Monday Night Football, the Carolina Panthers could be an intriguing play this week. The Colts are coughing the ball up at a staggering rate -- 15 giveaways on the season -- the second-highest in the league. The Panthers have looked terrific with the return of a healthy Luke Kuechly as they've picked up nine sacks in their last two games. We shouldn't be that surprised if the Panthers are a low-owned team given the Colts' reputation, but the Panthers are a 6.5-point favorite at home and are a team that's plenty capable of both turnovers and sacks.
