Yes, Ahmad Bradshaw is still in the NFL. And you'd probably do yourself a favor by picking him up because he showed off the true value he can provide as Frank Gore's backup in Week 11. In fact, Bradshaw far outperformed Gore on a per-touch basis against the Falcons, accumulating a 0.22 Rushing NEP and 3.82 Reception NEP to Gore's -7.59 Rushing NEP and 2.06 Reception NEP respectively.

What's encouraging about Bradshaw, however, is that he may provide standalone value regardless of Gore's health status, particularly in PPR leagues. Bradshaw caught all four of his targets in Week 11, reeling in two of them for touchdowns. And for those that remember Bradshaw's 10-game stint with the Colts in 2014 prior to his tibia fracture, Bradshaw was used heavily in the passing game near the goal line last season as well, accumulating a whopping six touchdowns through the air in 10 games.

If Week 11 is any indication, Bradshaw could continue to occupy that same role in the passing game while getting anywhere from 5 to 10 touches on the ground moving forward, which should be enough to provide some value if you’re in a pinch. If you're a Gore owner, make grabbing Bradshaw a priority in case of injury. But even if you don't own Gore, Bradshaw could be a good speculative add in the event that he continues to outperform Gore in the coming weeks.
