Tight Ends

High-Cost Option: Tyler Eifert $5,800

Tyler Eifert continues to dominate in the red zone, catching 11 touchdowns on the season from inside the red zone. The Rams have struggled defending the middle of the field, subsequently leading to giving up the ninth-most fantasy points to tight ends. While the yardage doesn't always show up in the box scores, Eifert is rolling on all cylinders seeing 6.4 targets per game and 30.2% of the team's red zone targets. The Rams have allowed the most 100-yard games to opposing tight ends on the season, allowing three in their last five weeks. Elite tight ends have produced so far this season against St. Louis, and Week 12 with Eifert shouldn't be any different.

Mid-Cost Option: Gary Barnidge $4,800

I like Delanie Walker ($5,400) against the Raiders this week, but I love the matchup that Gary Barnidge has at home against the Ravens. In the six full games that Josh McCown and Barnidge have played, Barnidge has either gone over 100 receiving yards or scored a touchdown. That combination of consistency and production makes Barnidge an elite play at the tight end position that features so much volatility. The Ravens have been rock solid against tight ends on the season but have already given up 8 catches for 139 yards and a touchdown against Barnidge in their earlier matchup this season. $4,800 makes Barnidge a terrific play after Week 11 had us questioning nearly every tight end.

Low-Cost Option: Vernon Davis $3,000

In Brock Osweiler's first NFL start, he targeted his tight ends 40.7% of the time. Vernon Davis saw 6 of those targets and was able to catch every single one en route to 68 receiving yards and 5 first downs. It's a small sample size, but as the chemistry builds between the two, Davis should continue to see passes directed his way -- especially this week when the pressure from Chandler Jones and company starts breathing down Osweiler's neck Sunday and there's still no Emmanuel Sanders available. When bargain hunting at tight end, we're looking for touchdown upside, and Davis can bring that as only Rob Gronkowski and Antonio Gates have had more touchdowns than Davis over the past 10 years.

GPP Wildcard: Derek Carrier $2,500

Contingent on the status of Jordan Reed entering this week, Derek Carrier is worth a GPP flier at the bare minimum price this week. The last time he was presented with this opportunity, he came through for those willing to roster him by scoring a touchdown. The Giants give up the most fantasy points to opposing tight ends, and if Reed is ruled out this week, adding Carrier will present some incredible versatility in your lineup construction in GPP's.
