5. Jordan Reed, Washington Redskins

Jordan Reed's talent has never been in question, but the knock on him has always been durability. In a season where he played 14 games, Reed showed what he’s capable of.

On the season, Reed totaled career highs in receptions (870), receiving yards (952), and touchdowns (11). Reed’s reception total and touchdowns were second best among tight ends this season.

Reed notched a 83.02 Reception NEP score, and his 11.7 fantasy points per game average was second best for tight ends this year.

Reed was a red zone monster for Kirk Cousins this year, as 10 of his 11 scores came within 20 yards of the goal line. Overall, Reed posted a 29.97 Reception NEP in the red zone, tops among the 10 tight ends we’ve ranked here.

Reed also caught 87 of his 114 targets, good enough for a 76 percent catch rate, best among the 28 tight ends with at least 50 targets on the year.
