Green Bay Packers

2015 Rank: 12
2014 Rank: 1
Fall: 11 spots

Given the only crucial injury that we know of for the Packers was to Jordy Nelson before the regular season, I’m expecting reports in the offseason that will attempt to bail the Packers out with something that was hidden from us during the season.

After all, Aaron Rodgers finished 27th -- 27th! -- in Passing NEP per play without his top receiver. His top targets -- Randall Cobb, Davante Adams, James Jones, and Richard Rodgers -- couldn’t step up when needed.

Cobb and Adams both finished in the bottom six of 48 receivers with 80-plus targets in Reception NEP per target, almost nullifying Jones’ fourth-place rank.

Eddie Lacy and James Starks finished 29th and 37th, respectively, in Rushing NEP per play in the group of 45 running backs with 100-plus attempts, each mitigated slightly by decent play as pass-catching backs.
