Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

If you were surprised to find Peyton Manning on this list, I’m confident you’re now in the process of reeling your jaw back up off the floor.

Aaron Rodgers’ struggles this season (and Green Bay as a whole) have been well documented, and his very, very poor play on third-downs fits firmly into that narrative.

He completed just 51.8 percent of his 3rd-down throws, while being sacked 29 times, tied with Blake Bortles for first among qualifying quarterbacks. And despite a 10:2 touchdown to interception ratio on 3rd-down this season, Rodgers’s -0.28 Passing NEP per play ranked 34th among 36 qualifying passers.

Much like Manning, there’s still time for Rodgers to turn things around in the playoffs, but there’s no doubt that for a quarterback normally near the top of every conceivable statically measure, Rodgers had a 2015 to forget.
