Boyd was the 55th overall pick in this year's NFL Draft, following a prolific collegiate career at Pittsburgh. As detailed by RotoViz's Jon Moore, Boyd had elite market-share numbers all three of his seasons at Pitt, numbers that ranked well relative to the rest of the incoming rookie class. He underwhelmed at the combine, but the Bengals felt good enough about his collegiate production to still spend second-round draft capital on him.

Although you always want to take coach-speak for granted, Boyd is receiving solid praise from his new staff in Cincinnati. Wide receiver coach James Urban told ESPN NFL Nation's Coley Harvey that they were "excited to see him and how he'll contribute to what we're going to do -- because he will." Again, take it with a grain of salt, but it's okay if said grain of salt gets you all hot and bothered.

With both Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu departing in free agency and Tyler Eifert potentially in jeopardy of missing the season opener, there are targets to be had in the Bengals' offense. When you consider that Boyd doesn't even have an ADP right now, it's clear that the risk is minimal. The ceiling, however, is not.
