3. Jordy Nelson, WR, Green Bay Packers

Jordy Nelson has certainly proven his upside by finishing as the second-highest scoring fantasy wide receiver twice over the past five seasons. During that span, the only two seasons in which he finished outside of the top-12 wide receivers in fantasy points were last year -- he missed the whole season due to a torn ACL -- and 2012, when he missed four games and still finished as the 30th-best fantasy wide receiver. So it’s clear that he is capable of finishing this season as fantasy football’s fifth best receiver, as his CI ceiling suggests.

The aforementioned ACL tear is the big reason behind his 67.06 CI range, which is the largest among all players at his position. A 31-year-old wide receiver coming back from a significant injury is not a lock to regain all-star form, and he has been placed on the PUP list to start training camp.

If he can't fully recover in time for the beginning of the season, fantasy owners could see him closer to the floor of his CI range as the 29th-best fantasy wide receiver, similar to his 2012 season. On the flip side, his ceiling will leave him as the fifth-best player at his position.
