MVP Candidates
Aaron Rodgers ($16,500) Despite his lackluster 4.7 fantasy performance in Week One, Rodgers stands as numberFire's top rated player by more than three points with a 18.7 FanDuel point projection and a 1.14 value rating. With the potential return of his number one receiver and right tackle, it would not surprise anyone if Green Bay's stud quarterback returned to his previous form when playing without Davante Adams including an average of 20.5 completions for 249.2 yards and 2.0 touchdowns with a 6.5% Touchdown rate.
Justin Fields ($15,000) Even in Week One's tough weather conditions, Chicago's second-year quarterback flashed his dual-threat upside with an eye-popping 11 rush attempts. In a potential underrated matchup versus a Packers' defensive unit currently ranked 26th per numberFire's power rankings, Fields ranks second overall with a 15.2 fantasy projection including eight rushing attempts for 38.1 yards as well as Sunday's fourth-best value rating at 1.02.
Aaron Jones ($14,000): With 15.7 touches for a slate-high 86.9 scrimmage yards and 0.67 total touchdowns, Green Bay's versatile back offers slate-breaking upside in his role as a rusher and pass catcher. Via Stat Muse in nine games without Adams, the 27-year old averages 12.1 rushing attempts for 59.1 yards and 4.3 receptions for 46.1 yards.
Flex Considerations
David Montgomery ($13,500): Ranking first among Sunday night's slate with 18.5 total touches and fourth overall with a 12.3 FanDuel point projection, Montgomery's three-down role cannot be ignored even with efficiency concerns. On a 66% snap percentage in last week's victory, the Bears' starting back still created 24 yards after contact on his 17 rushing attempts in addition to a 73.7% route participation on 14 receiving snaps.
A.J. Dillon ($13,000): In a potential committee role versus a Bears' run defense rated 16th per numberFire's models, Dillon ranks first among his team with 13.7 rushing attempts and second in rushing yardage at 60.4. With three total touches including one reception inside the ten-yard line in Week One, the 24-year old has a high ceiling with tonight's second best touchdown expectation at 0.46.
Allen Lazard ($12,000): After three limited practices, Lazard could jump into a lead role among Green Bay's wideouts with a team-high 3.13 expected receptions for 43.2 yards on 4.8 targets.
Darnell Mooney ($11,500): In a versatile role lining up 47.8% of his snaps out wide and 52.2% in slot, Mooney ranks first among tonight's slate with 4.3 receptions for 56.8 yards on 7.7 targets.
Green Bay Packers ($9,500): Against a Bears' offense projected for Week Two's second worst team total at 16 points, Green Bay's defensive unit ranks second in value with a 1.1 rating and sixth overall with a 10.5 fantasy expectation.
Robert Tonyan ($7,500): Among Green Bay's receiving options, the Packers' trusted red zone threat rates second in value with a 0.89 rating and touchdowns with a 0.28 mark on 4.5 targets.
Randall Cobb ($6,500): In a primary slot role (96.3% snaps in Week 1), Rodgers' trusted veteran option ranks first among Green Bay's wideouts in value with a 0.91 rating while also rating second in receptions (2.3) and touchdowns (0.25) on 3.5 targets.
