3 Fantasy Football Tight End Streamer Options for Week 13

Evan Engram is playing quite a bit for a Jacksonville offense that's heating up. Which other tight ends are worth kicking the tires on this week?

The tight end position isn't overflowing with depth. Instead, it's still top-heavy. So, those of you who kicked the can down the road at the position instead of investing in an elite tight end might dabble in the streamer waters. Some of you came out of drafts with the intention of streaming.

No matter the path to this point, those who need help identifying widely available tight ends to help their fantasy squad each week have found the correct spot. This is your weekly home for streaming options. Here are three choices for this week.

Evan Engram, Jacksonville Jaguars

Unfortunately, Evan Engram has largely been invisible lately. In the Jacksonville Jaguars' last three games, he's had five receptions for 26 scoreless yards. Yuck. Nevertheless, Engram has played a full-time role and run routes.

According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), Engram has run the third-most routes (93) on the team in the last three games. The veteran tight end has also been moved around the formation, aligning wide 28 times, inline 34 times, and in the slot 37 times during his three-game lull.

Engram had an ugly two-game stretch in Week 3 and Week 4, collecting two receptions for 25 scoreless yards before he went on a four-game run of having fantasy utility. Engram's ability to bounce back from a lean stretch was encouraging.

However, the matchup and betting info helped influence his appearance in this piece. According to Football Outsiders, tight ends have averaged the eighth-most receiving yards per game (57.1) against the Detroit Lions this year. Further, per Pro Football Reference, tight ends have the 11th-most receptions (54) and are tied for the 3rd-most touchdown receptions (7) against Detroit.

Finally, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Jaguars and Lions have an over/under of 51.5 points, and the Jags are only 1.5-point underdogs, creating a shootout environment.

Foster Moreau, Las Vegas Raiders

Foster Moreau is back again. Gamers who streamed him last week were treated to three receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown. Moreau has exceeded 30 receiving yards in five consecutive games, catching multiple passes in four of those games. He's also reached paydirt in two of the last three games.

Moreau is a mainstay on the field for the Las Vegas Raiders. He's played more than 95 percent of Las Vegas's offensive snaps in six consecutive games. Since Week 10, Moreau is third in routes (95), fourth in targets (12), fifth in receptions (7), fourth in receiving yards (109), and second in touchdown receptions (2) for the Raiders. Obviously, he hasn't lit the world on fire, and his touchdowns have salvaged his value.

Yet, again, Moreau's playing time and route participation have been encouraging. The matchup is good, too. Tight ends have averaged the fifth-most receiving yards per game (58.6) against the Los Angeles Chargers. Although, the Chargers have also squared off against Travis Kelce twice, allowing 156 receiving yards to the superstar tight end.

Moreau can also benefit from the AFC West matchup shooting out, which is a distinct possibility. The game's total is 50.5 points, and the Raiders are only 1.5-point underdogs at home. So, the case for Moreau is nearly identical to what it was for Engram. However, I prefer Moreau when picking between the two.

Tyler Conklin, New York Jets

Benching Zach Wilson was just what the New York Jets needed. Mike White was lights out, completing 22 of 28 passes for 315 yards and three touchdowns en route to 31 points. Yes, the Chicago Bears are little more than a speed bump for opposing offenses. Regardless, White moved the ball effectively and elevates the floor and ceiling for all members of the offense.

Tyler Conklin efficiently reeled in all 3 of his targets for 50 receiving yards in Week 12. Conklin has played fairly well in four games started by anyone other than Wilson. He had at least 10 fantasy points in full-point point-per-reception (PPR) formats in the first three games of the year, with Joe Flacco starting. In the four games without Wilson, he's averaged 6.75 targets, 5.25 receptions, and 47.5 receiving yards per game and scored 1 touchdown.

Conklin has a chance to help fantasy squads again this week in a plus matchup against his former employer, the Minnesota Vikings. Tight ends have averaged 49.6 receiving yards per game against Minnesota this season, a hair above the league average (48.5 yards). They've also tied for the eighth-most receiving touchdowns (5) against the Vikings this year.

The betting info isn't as exciting for Conklin as for Engram and Moreau. The Jets are 3.0-point underdogs, and the game's total is 45.5 points. So, Conklin is slightly behind the other two featured options. Still, he's a rock-solid streamer.
