Vikings' Kirk Cousins (Achilles) will miss remainder of season
The Minnesota Vikings announced that quarterback Kirk Cousins suffered a torn Achilles tendon during the team's Week 8 win over the Green Bay Packers.

He's been keeping the Vikings' offense afloat even with superstar Justin Jefferson (hamstring) sidelined and has kept them (at 4-4) in the race for the NFC North. The Vikings turned to rookie fifth-round pick Jaren Hall to close out their Week 8 win but have yet to announce an official starter for Week 9.
