Packers: Luke Musgrave has 'pretty significant' abdominal injury
Green Bay Packers tight end Luke Musgrave has a "significant" abdominal injury, per head coach Matt LaFleur.
Musgrave has been sidelined for both practices this week and it sounds like he will be ruled out for the Packers' matchup with the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving. Tucker Kraft and Ben Sims could play more snaps if Musgrave is unavailable, but Christian Watson (shoulder), Jayden Reed (chest), Romeo Doubs, and Dontayvion Wicks (concussion/knee) are more likely to benefit from additional targets. Musgrave tied for the Week 11 team-lead in targets (6) and was second in catches (5). He has 9 catches on 14 targets for 143 yards and a touchdown over the last three games.
The Lions are ranked 19th in FanDuel points allowed per game to tight ends this season. Musgrave is the TE15 in numberFire's Week 12 PPR rankings and our models project him for 6.2 FanDuel points, with 4.9 targets, 3.3 receptions, and 33.9 yards.
