Ryan Schimpf showed last night what he can do in a good matchup, blasting a home run with four RBI, and that game continued what has been a very strong rookie season.

His 259 plate appearances are starting to become a reasonable sample size, and he owns a huge .389 wOBA and .367 ISO despite a .262 BABIP on a 42.1% hard-hit rate.

He draws a good matchup tonight against Tyler Chatwood, who is sporting a 4.76 SIERA on the season, which is right in line with the 4.69 he has posted over his career.
