10. A.J. Green, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

A.J. Green has been a little inconsistent for my taste, with two dominant performances, two duds, and one solid game (especially in PPR) defining his season. That is just a part of the deal when your quarterback is Andy Dalton, who is an inconsistent thrower down the field.

Still, Green's explosiveness can win you weeks, and he already has two games with over 170 yards and a touchdown in each. On the season, Green is fifth in targets (52), second in receptions (36) and second in yards (518). The production is certainly there, just not on a consistent basis.

His 31 Reception Successes are tied for first in the NFL with Hilton, and he is seventh in the NFL in Reception NEP (39.76) and sixth in Target NEP (28.39). He has 20 more targets than the next best player on the Bengals (Brandon LaFell), and that volume has allowed him rank eighth in fantasy scoring among receivers.

He situation is similar to Mike Evans, except the Bengals just have a few more weapons to pull volume away from Green at times. His weekly upside as the top target in this offense makes him clearly worth a first-round selection, even if Dalton holds him back here and there.
