Jordan Reed didn't practice on Thursday, and it looks like he may miss his second straight game, opening the door for Vernon Davis.

Davis played about half of Washington's offensive snaps in each of the three games leading up to Reed's injury, a number that jumped to 97% with Reed out in Week 7.

The Detroit Lions have been a great team to target tight this season when looking for tight end production. The Lions have allowed 5.5 receptions, 55.5 yards and a league-high 1.2 touchdowns per game to the position. They have also struggled against the pass in general, checking in last in our schedule-adjusted metrics.

Even though his target numbers don't inspire much confidence, getting a tight end for minimum salary who will likely play upwards of 90% of his team's offensive snaps against the Lions makes for great value.
