4. Ryan Tannehill

With an NEP of 159.65, Ryan Tannehill is just ahead of RG3 in the middle of the pack. Unfortunately, that's not as good as it might sound. Unlike Griffin, Tannehill has been really durable in his five-year career, starting all of his possible 76 starts.

With that being said, the fact that he's added just a hair better value in 40 more starts is kind of sad.

Outside of that comparison, though, Tannehill's career seems to be headed in a very different direction than Griffin's. While RG3 has dealt with injuries and has to cope with the fact that he's a shell of what he used to be, Tannehill's career trajectory appears to be on the upswing.

His 30.65 average NEP over his first four seasons is rather mediocre, but he's now at an NEP of 37.03 and is on track for the second-best season of his career. And he's doing all of this with a very suspect offensive line. What a difference head coach Adam Gase seems to be making in Miami.

We'll have to wait and see if Tannehill can continue improving and fulfill the expectations that come with being the eighth overall pick in the draft. To this point, he hasn't lived up to that bill.
