5. Robert Griffin III

As previously mentioned, RG3 was one of the most polarizing, boom-or-bust picks of the draft. After showing off an impressive dual-threat skillset and winning the Heisman Trophy, all the draft hype revolved around the Baylor quarterback.

Accordingly, the Redskins traded up to the number two spot and drafted him one pick after the Colts. The then St. Louis Rams probably regretted that for a whole year -- until they didn't.

After racking up an NEP of 147.56 in his rookie season, things fell through and he failed to be either healthy or productive for two-plus seasons. He added just 1.64 NEP since that big breakout.

I'm sure if things were done all over again, the Redskins would avoid picking an injury-plagued player to become their franchise-saving quarterback. Luck or Wilson would've been better choices, in hindsight, and RG3 would've been better-suited for a team with a more experienced offensive line and weapons to take the pressure off the star signal-caller.
