Antonio Morrison, Inside Linebacker

We recommended Indianapolis Colts inside linebacker Edwin Jackson to great success last week, and teammate Antonio Morrison is also poised for fantasy success in Week 15. With the Colts losing stud veteran D'Qwell Jackson to a suspension, there is tackle opportunity galore for young players like these two.

Morrison has played just 18 percent of the Colts’ defensive snaps in his rookie year, getting to take this first season in the pros as a “watch-and-learn” experience. The athletic Florida product would be in contention for the top spot in tackle rate among inside linebackers if qualified, however, as he has earned a tackle on 18 percent of his plays. His speed gives him some coverage upside as well, though he has no passes defended or interceptions yet in the NFL.

Week 15 against the Minnesota Vikings should afford him enough tackle chances, thanks to a balanced offense (17th by pass-to-run ratio) and a passing attack that prefers short crosses and high-percentage possession routes. If he gets a chance to drop behind the line, too, the Vikings have allowed the third-highest stuff rate to opposing defenses.

Morrison is available in 99.7% of ESPN IDP leagues, and we project him for 5.63 tackles, 0.02 sacks, 0.22 passes defended, and a total score of 5.95 fantasy points in Week 15.
